Hello E.B.S. Families!
My name is Sia Her Abad and I am so excited to be teaching kindergarten at Ellen Browning Scripps Elementary. I grew up in Northern California and moved down to San Diego in 2004 to attend San Diego State University, where I received my teaching credential and began my teaching career. I have taught grades TK through second grade. I hope for my students and their families to know that in our classroom they are cared about and their ideas, thoughts and actions are valued. I look forward to building a positive, enriching and engaging classroom community with my students and their families. In my free time, I enjoy spending it at the beach and park with my family and our very active husky, Sunny. We are also foodies and love exploring different cuisines, restaurants and cafes. This year is going to be a great year full of new friends, new adventures, and new discoveries!
