Hello E.B.S. Families!
My name is Sia Her Abad and I am so excited to be teaching kindergarten at Ellen Browning Scripps Elementary. I have taught in San Diego Unified for over sixteen years in grades TK through second grade. I’m so grateful to start my seventeenth year of teaching at EBS!
I hope for my students and their families to know that in our classroom they are cared about and their ideas, thoughts and actions are valued. I look forward to building a positive, enriching and engaging classroom community with my students and their families.
In my free time, I enjoy spending it at the beach and park with my husband and daughter (who is starting her freshman year at high school this year), and our almost five year old husky, Sunny.
This year is going to be a great year full of new friends, new adventures, and new discoveries!
